General rules for betting and game play
You must be aged 18 or over to use our gambling services. You are responsible for keeping your account details accurate, protecting your login information and making sure that nobody else uses your account. We may ask for information or documents to verify your identity, age, address, payment method or source of funds before allowing you to continue playing or withdrawing funds. We hold a gaming licence and verify accounts in line with our legal and regulatory duties.
You may have one account only with us unless we have given you written permission to hold another account. If we identify duplicate accounts, linked accounts or an account opened in breach of these rules, we may restrict, suspend or close the accounts concerned. We may also correct balances and cancel bets or transactions where this is necessary to apply our rules fairly.
All bets and game play must be made by you for your own personal use. You must not use our services for unlawful activity, attempt to manipulate a game, exploit a technical fault, use automated systems or interfere with the operation of our website, games or payment facilities. We may investigate unusual activity and take action where we reasonably believe these rules have been breached.
You can play using your cash balance or, where available, using bonus funds. The balance used for a particular bet or spin is determined by the game, the applicable bonus terms and the order in which funds are used. Your account, the cashier and the relevant promotion will show the balances and conditions that apply.
A bet, stake or spin is treated as accepted when it is confirmed by our system. Once accepted, it is final and cannot normally be cancelled, changed or withdrawn by you. If you are unsure whether an action has been accepted, do not repeat it immediately. Check your account history or contact us through live chat or by e-mail.
How bets and spins are settled
Every game uses a game server to record accepted bets, spins, cards, numbers, symbols, reels, hands and other events. The result recorded and displayed by the game server is the result used to settle the game. Subject to the malfunction provisions below, that result is final.
The rules shown within the game, including its paytable, winning combinations, stake options, features and settlement instructions, apply to each round. You should read the in-game help before playing and look at the details for the particular game you have selected. Different games may use different stake ranges, bonus features, result displays and settlement procedures.
A game’s return-to-player figure, where applicable, is shown in that game. This figure is a long-term statistical calculation and is not a promise of a particular result, return or outcome in any individual session. It does not change the fact that each bet or spin is settled by the result produced for that round.
- The stake is deducted when the bet or spin is accepted by the system.
- Any winning amount is credited when the round has been settled.
- A losing bet or spin does not create a right to a refund simply because the result was unexpected.
- Displayed balances, game records and account history may take a short time to update after a round.
- If a transaction appears twice or a result does not appear as expected, do not place the same bet again before checking your account.
Where a game or promotion contains a specific settlement rule, that rule takes priority for the relevant game or promotion. You are responsible for reading the information available before placing a bet. If there is a conflict between a game’s stated rule and a general description, we will use the rule that applies specifically to that game, subject to applicable law.
Malfunctions, interruptions and disconnected games
A malfunction includes a technical error, software fault, communication failure, incorrect display, interrupted connection, data error or other defect affecting a game, bet, bonus feature or settlement. It may occur on our systems, within a game or between your device and our services.
If a malfunction affects a game or round, all pays and play affected by that malfunction are void. This means that an amount shown during a faulty round is not necessarily payable, and a stake or result may be removed or corrected when the issue is identified. We may restore the balance to the position it should have been in before the affected play.
A temporary loss of connection does not by itself cancel a valid bet. If you are disconnected during a game, the game may resume when you reconnect, or the game server may settle the round without your connection being active. When you return, check the game history and your account balance rather than starting another round immediately.
If the game cannot be completed or settled because of a technical issue, we will handle it using the game’s records and the information available on our systems. We may suspend a game, feature or account while an issue is investigated. You must not knowingly take advantage of a fault or continue using a service that is clearly displaying an error.
If you believe a malfunction has affected your balance or a round, contact us as soon as possible. Include the game name, approximate time, stake, round details and any information shown on screen. Keeping a note or screenshot can help us identify the affected transaction.
Bonus funds and promotional play
Bonus funds, free spins, cashback and other promotional benefits are subject to the bonus terms shown with the relevant offer. Those terms explain who can participate, how the offer is claimed, the expiry period, wagering or playthrough conditions, eligible games, maximum winnings and any withdrawal requirements.
Bonus funds are not the same as cash funds and may not be withdrawn until the applicable conditions have been met. A cash balance may be used before bonus funds, depending on the offer and the game. The cashier, promotion area or account balance will show the funds available to you and any conditions that remain.
The maximum bet allowed during bonus play applies even if a higher stake is available in the game. The maximum may apply to a single bet, spin, hand, round or combined feature, as stated in the relevant bonus terms. A bet that exceeds the permitted amount may cause the bonus and associated winnings to be cancelled where the terms allow this.
Not every game contributes equally towards a bonus requirement. Some games may contribute partially, while others may not contribute at all. The contribution rates and any excluded games are shown in the terms for the relevant offer. Changing games, using a feature or receiving a game result does not remove these requirements.
- One promotion may be used only once unless its terms say otherwise.
- A promotion can be withdrawn or removed if you opt out, close your account or breach its conditions.
- We may refuse or remove a bonus where we reasonably believe the offer has been abused or used contrary to its terms.
- If a bonus expires before its conditions are completed, the remaining bonus funds and any winnings dependent on them may be removed.
- Promotional terms apply alongside these Betting Rules and our wider account terms.
Live casino and table games
Live casino and table games are played according to the game-specific rules shown in the table’s help section. These rules explain the available bets, minimum and maximum stakes, dealing procedure, payout structure, side bets, round stages and any timing requirements. Read them before placing a bet.
The dealer’s decisions and the table’s recorded game events determine the outcome of a live round. This includes decisions about dealing, card placement, roulette results, game phases, accepted bets and whether a bet was made in time. The result recorded by the live game system is used to settle the round.
Bets must be placed before the table closes betting for the relevant phase. A bet received after the closing signal, after the dealing or spin has started, or after the table has moved to the next stage is a late bet and will not normally be accepted for that round. A display on your device does not override the table’s official betting status.
If your connection drops after a live bet has been accepted, the round may continue and settle. Reconnect and check the result in the table history or your account. If the bet was not accepted by the live game system, it will not be settled as an accepted bet, even if you saw a selection on your screen.
Where a table has a specific rule for an interrupted round, disputed hand, cancelled event or technical issue, that rule applies. We may suspend a table while we confirm the official record. Dealer conduct, table announcements and the information in the table help form part of the rules for that game.
Disputes and contact about a game
If you think a bet, spin, live round, bonus feature or account balance has been settled incorrectly, contact us so we can look into it. Send your dispute to support@casinobettom-uk.com or use the live chat on our site. We will use the records held by the relevant game and our systems when assessing the issue.
To help us identify the correct transaction, include the following information:
- Your account details or the e-mail address registered to your account.
- The name of the game, table or promotion involved.
- The date and approximate time of the bet, spin or round.
- The stake, transaction amount and round or hand reference, if shown.
- A clear description of what happened and the result or balance you expected.
- Any relevant error message or screenshot.
Please contact us promptly and keep the original details of the round where possible. Do not continue placing bets to recreate a fault, and do not alter or delete information that may help identify the event. We may ask for further information before reaching a decision.
We will assess the dispute against the applicable game rules, bonus terms, transaction records and these Betting Rules. The game server’s recorded result is final unless there is evidence of a malfunction, recording error or another reason to correct the settlement. If we cannot resolve the matter through support, we will explain the next available complaints route through the information provided with your account.
